35% tints on cars

More of today's new cars come out with darker windows than they used to.

My Toyota Prius measured 71% VLT. If I tinted it with a 40% tint, it would have come out at around 28%.

So I finished up with a Ceramic 50. The result was exactly 35%.

We have found new European cars to come out the same, so be careful when you tint it!

The Testing Stations have very little tolerance on tinting below 35%!

My advice: Stick to the law, re-tinting your car is costly and annoying!
