Window film on double glazing

Building our own home, we have double glazing installed.
In total, I will use 4 different film types, depending on what we need in each area.
All the bathrooms, laundry and garage glass has frosted film now. In the front entrance, I have used the frosting with a small clear border, this makes it private, functional and attractive.
In the office, where glare could be a problem, we have used SV25 from Johnson Window Film. This film type is also offering excellent daytime privacy. The bedrooms don't need the same amount of tinting, but using SV50 gives us excellent privacy due to the extra reflection double glazing creates. From the inside you don't even know that there is a tint on the windows.

I'm going to use a 50% nano-ceramic film in the living areas to keep it light, but give me good fade protection and no back reflection. Ceramics also offer far superior clarity.

Interesting to see the double glazing technique and all of the different films being applied. I have a tinting company in Florida http://www.sunshinetinting.com/window-tinting-astor-fl/ and have never seen a homeowner go that route. It's always nice to see what other industry people are doing so we can make recommendations to our customers and present all options.
