Have you ever bought something, because it was a little bit cheaper than another "similar" product and regretted it?
You have probably found (upon closer inspection) the specifications lower, the knowledge of the salesperson somewhat lacking and possibly getting some pressure to "buy now -special offer running out"

The film can look good when you look at the sample.
The brochures can be glossy, with lots of nice pictures.
The price quite a lot lower than the other quote(s).
Two years later, the film does not look that good any more. It has not really made such a difference to your comfort. The corners are starting to lift....... the film feels "powdery" or worse.... it has changed colour already......
.... No problem.... let's call the guy who installed it..... Oopps, phone is disconnected...... No other information, because it was a "Special, cash only offer" .... what now?
No warranty.... nobody wants to know your problem, because you don't have any proof of purchase!
Next step.... get a quote to remove the film, plus installing a better product.
The morale of the story: Spend a little more up front and save yourself lots of money and heartache!
