Master Tinters........ more than just a name

How can you be sure you are getting the best advice and better still, guaranteed quality material and installation?

We have seen a great number of window tinting companies open over the years, cause a stir, and then quietly disappear a short time later. It is actually sad to see that only a small number makes it long term. The same phenomenon also applies to branded businesses, where ownership changes and the skill level drops.

What is the difference?

We found that a good window tinting business needs to have a good level of understanding of the industry, the products available and a commitment to its clients. The installers need an experienced person in charge, the person selling must be a good listener and provide sound advice. Should things go wrong, responsibility must be accepted and the faults rectified.

How do you know, which business offers all these important points?

In New Zealand, a group of dedicated and experienced window tinters, for both flat glass and automotive tinting started a group called Master Tinters.

The criteria for acceptance into this elite group was, and still is:
  • a minimum of 2 years industry "hands-on" experience

  • to have high ethics and offer honest advice

  • only people with tinting experience are offering consultations

  • the business must guarantee all its work

  • only use high quality window films

The group offers a mediation service, should the need arise. To date, this has never been required. Members can be expelled for serious or repeated complaints from their clients.
No other association or group is willing to offer all this in New Zealand.
