Go to the Auckland Yellow Pages and you will find around six pages of ads trying to entice you to pick them.
Yellow Pages should be for new customers only.
Why?
If you use a service and are happy with it, you tend to back to it. If you're not happy, you go elsewhere and so become a "new" customer to another supplier. This time you may ask some questions and are perhaps more cautious than last time.
What if you have never had your windows tinted and are a first time customer? How do you tell a good company from a bad one? Let's face it, you could spend a couple of thousand Dollars and end up with a less than desirable outcome.
Appearances can deceive!
Looking at the Yellow Pages, there is a company promoting the "fact" that they have been around for over 25 years. Truth: The company name has, the present owners bought it 3-4 years ago, had 3 weeks training. One employee has industry experience for more than 10 years. He is not a senior staff member.
Scary to find, this is not the only business. Many of the larger ads hide similar facts.
Here is some more fiction: A number of car tinting ads list an impressive number of locations they operate from. Fact: One location only.
Trustworthy bunch, aren't we?
Here is a little tip on how to avoid being led down the garden path: Look for a member of Master Tinters. Not only do we know what we are talking about, we use only quality films.
You will find Master Tinters are not the cheapest, but then again you might get a surprise.
Call us for free, genuine advice from one of our consultants, who, by coincidence must also be experienced as window tinter. We do not believe in sales people for our service.
